Drinking well already. Typical GR area flavors with a little cherry and earthiness thrown in. Will develop for a few more years. Much better than the 99. Bodes well for 2000 releases from Tom. Get on his list ASAP.
Dehlinger Goldridge Vineyard Pinot Noir 2000 Russian River Valley pinot. Intense ruby red color. Aroma of freshly crushed berries and Laffy Taffy. Medium/full bodied, 14.5% abv. Very sweet, with candied red fruit, orange peel, cherry jam, raspberries, cedar. You would never say this is a Burgundy pinot – totally New Worldish. Acidity is on the high side. Not tannic. Medium finish, with a spicy note. Drink up.
