Um, what is the year again?!
Will people still be drinking wine in 900 years?
2014 Bodegas Beronia Rioja Riserva

Nice Idocracy reference
Dang, fat finger it one time and all hell breaks loose.
2009 Marques del Valle, Cab/Malbec, Val de Guadalupe....never had a Mexican wine with age on it. The most remarkable aspect was that it was drinkable.
2016 Carlisle Zinfandel Mancini Ranch
2016 Epoch Estate Wines Possibility Paderewski Vineyard
2006 Sine Qua Non Syrah Raven Series
2016 Paitin Barbaresco Sori’ Paitin
2017 Cayuse The Lovers.
Way way way too young but some good potential after a 2ish hour decant. A ton of funk.
2009 Sine Qua Non Syrah The Thrill of...
2015 Horsepower Vineyards Syrah Sur Echalas Vineyard
2013 Saxum James Berry Vineyard
2014 Saxum Paderewski Vineyard
2018 Castello della Sala (Antinori) Umbria Cervaro della Sala
2006 Hanzell Pinot Noir
2010 Mount Eden Chardonnay. No one will ever mistake this for Burgundy but it has aged beautifully and has a ton of life ahead of it.
Dunn CS Howell Mountain 2007. Lovely wine but a bitch of a cork. Ended up pushing the bottom quarter into the bottle.
Bouillot Cremant de Bourgogne rose nv.
A delightful, if uncomplicated, aperitif-like beverage
2012 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Summa Vineyard
2012 R. Lopez de Heredia Vina Cubillo Rioja. Just entering it's drinking window for my taste. A big wine, with ripe dark fruit. Strong pucker-power on the finish. Not in a hurry to open the remaining bottles.
I like this.
1994 Dow
2016 Bevan Ontogeny
2012 Norman Hardie chardonnay L Series
2020 Domaine Chante Cigale Chateauneuf du pape blanc
amongst others.....
made the mistake of trying a 2019 caymus thinking "it cant be that bad"
oh it's bad. real bad. fruit concoction bad. no structure, incredibly sweet, and honestly not that far above a meiomi.
2011 Orma - gorgeous....
2004 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
2005 Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon. Under cork. Funky nose that persisted even after a two hour decant. The abundant dark fruit struggled a bit to keep up. OK, but hoped it would be better.
2004 Ruffino Modus, at peak, really nice
2016 Nozzole chianti classico reserva. Very good now but probably will wait several years before opening the next one.
2016 Fattoria dei Pagliarese Chianti Classico
2010 Domaine de Ferrand Châteauneuf-du-Pape
2011 La chapelle de la mission haut brion.
What a classic left bank bdx.
graphite, lovely red currants, not as brawny as the full la mission but still a stunner and great bang for the buck.
2018 Neudorf Rosie's Block Chardonnay (New Zealand). Lovely wine. Gorgeous nose, smooth bordering on elegant, long finish. Reasonable price. What's not to like?
Ordered more, for drinking over the next five years or so.

I was gifted a 2010 a number of years ago and finally opened it last year. My TN in CT:
”Everything I dislike in red wine: a blast of alcohol heat on the nose; overripe, sweet fruit; flabby, low acidity and structureless; gobs of milk chocolate. I get that this is right in the wheelhouse of some people. À chacun son goût.”
