Where did you get that deal?

What? Confused
Goes for $80-100 in my market.

Is JJB JJ Buckley? It's listed at $95 on their website. Maybe there was an e-mail deal?

I find the Arneis a good one to have in the cellar for the several pairings to works well with.

Are the '09's in your market?

I enjoy my Arneis, young.

2 x 2004 Uccelliera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
2 x 2006 Château Smith Haut Lafitte
2 x 2006 Château Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc
1 x 2006 Château Trotanoy

Nice. Any idea of a drinking window on the 2006 Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc? Picked up a couple recently as well. Thank you in advance.
Vienna becomes a magical place each December. There are Christmas markets in every square filled with people drinking mulled wine or hot cider and generally making merry. If you've never been here during this period, you should add it to your list of things to experience.

In between all this merriment, I bought:

2001 Ciacci Piccolomini Santa Caterina Riserva Brunello
2009 Prager Riesling Klaus Vyd
2008 Prager Riesling Klaus Vyd
2007 Hirsch Riesling "Zöbinger Heiligenstein"
2005 Kracher Traminer "TBA No. 3 Nouvelle Vaque"

So you're the guy that buys all the fancy shirts at Nordstrom...

I'm more of a Canali guy myself

I like Canali as well, but thought the new Bogosse were more fun.

I went looking for Hugo Boss, but was not crazy about this seasons release.

No love for Robert Talbott??? Like Canali, not a Boss fan, usually.

This thread is drifting like the snow outside! Big Grin

Talbott... I buy for dress shirts and ties, and also always visit the Talbott winery when playing Pebble Beach. Cool

Now if we start talking shoes, we really will be drifting. Wink

We tasted through their lineup at the winery a few months ago. All their wines were excellent, and the 2000 Clos des Goisses truly great. If you want to try one of their wines that is almost as fine at a lower price, look for the 2002 Brut Millesime Cuvee 1522.

Indeed. The last two years I have traveled. This year, I'm staying home.

Four more work days this year, then off until January 3rd. Cool
