Eat the food you like with the wine you like to drink and you'll be happy. I enjoy Rhone wines with lamb or other game, but depending how extracted the wine is and if it has any RS, I like a good old roasted chicken or pheasant.

The "food & wine pairing prevailing vision" is a load of crap if you want to ask me - Alsace & Chinese; Sauternes with Foie Gras - it's all a bunch of elitist crap with little application in the real world. How often do people drink Sauternes? How often do they eat Foie Gras? Who made this up, anyway?

Give me a minute to put on my helmet & padding when all the respondents call me names. Razz Wink
