I enjoy making quick meals with chicken or fish, herbs etc. wraped and baked in renolds wrap. Someone told me this is unhealthy, that the aluminum gets tranfered to the food??? Is there any validity to this?? Hope not I've been doing this for years Eek

This link is from Health Canada. About half way down the page I found this:

Should I stop using aluminum cookware and aluminum foil?

No. Studies have shown that the amount of aluminum that leaches from aluminum cookware and aluminum foil into food is generally negligible.

It sounds as if there is not much to worry about. Your topic caught my eye because I also use aluminum foil when baking fish with rice and vegetables as well as other recipes. Additionally, I’ve been using Calphalon cookware for quite some time.
