I need some advice...
My wife and I are building a house and the house plan we picked doesn't have as large a kitchen as we were previously used to (unfortunately). Consequently, we are forced to go from a cooktop and double wall oven to a free-standing dual fuel gas range with an electric double oven.
The dual oven offers a larger drawer with the convection cooking/baking feature, as well as a smaller baking/warming drawer.
My question is, can you cook/roast two different items in the convection drawer (i.e., pork loin and brussel sprouts, parmesan chicken and new potatoes, etc.) at the same time?
From what I've read on the model we're contemplating (Electrolux), the baking/warming drawer is not suitable for roasting vegetables.
We've grown extremely accustomed to our former double oven and don't want to sacrifice this option, if at all possible.
To head off some potential questions... Yes, we did use our double oven frequently (at least 3-4 times a week for just the two of us). And, yes, our new kitchen cannot be reconfigured without significant expense (we purchased these plans specifically for the basement and wine cellar space)...
Any help/advice would be GREATLY appreciated...
Thanks in advance...
