I was intrigued by the article this month about the Kenyan Highland Cooperative coffee imported by Green Mountain Coffee. Earlier in the week I was running low on coffee at home so I decided to give it a try. This was the first time ordering from GMC. I ordered on a Tuesday morning and it arrived via FedEx on Saturday using standard shipping. The coffee is ~$7 / 10 oz. so it was fairly priced in today's market.

I'm drinking my first, well second cup of it at right now and it's a very nice cup 'a joe. The coffee is a medium roast and drinks smooth like a breakfast blend but with a bit more body. Nice acidity with a hint of lemon. I drink my coffee black. It's the type of coffee you could drink at any time of the day.

Just wanted to pass along my thoughts on it in case anyone's interest was as piqued as I mine.

I have this coffee also, as well as the Sumatra...very unimpressed. At my work we also have Green Mountain, in k-cup format, where I have tried many, many varieties, also extremely unimpressed. To me, the coffee has no distictive flavor and seems a bit flat.
