So Quesada made the anniversary cigar for my local cigar store, and honestly I was a bit concerned. It turned out to be a success, infact it has some cuban qualities IMO....along the lines of a Hoyo or Ramone Allones.

Quesada may be worth a look in regards to there other vitolas.

Other cigars enjoyed the past week now that its a bit warmer.

An Older Monte A that I found in a box where I usually place singles.

The wrapper and the cigar itself had seen better days.

The cigar itself was beautiful - 2.5 hours of rich vanilla and creme.

Kentucky Fire Cured My Uzi Weighs A Ton Delfinas. Quite possibly the longest name ever for a cigar.

Had my first Blanco Nine lancers this afternoon. What a great cigar with loads of chocolate, coffee and Cedar.

Sancho Panza Selección Delamonte belicoso (2008)

What an amazing, smooth, flavorful cigar. Six years in the humidor really did this cigar a major favor. I have a few more and look forward to trying another in a year or so.

Very nice Haggis....the 2008's is a terrific vintage. Had a Siglo VI over the weekend from 2008 and it was close to perfect.

Padron 1926 Anniversary

HdM Epi #2 (2010). Good, but not great. A little disappointing, actually. But the Talisker was fantastic!

Monte #4 on the golf course. While I usually enjoy this cigar golfing, this one was underwhelming.

Had a Herrera Esteli Piramide Fino tonight. This Nicaraguan is one of the best non-Cubans ever. Amazing flavor profile (smooth, creamy, espresso, licorice), draw, and burn.

Ecuadoran wrapper, Honduran binder, and Nicaraguan filler. Made by Drew Estate for Willy Herrera. I don't care much for DE cigars, but the 2013 line up of Herrera Estli is fantastic. I haven't had any from other years, so I don't have a point of comparison. This is a 93pt cigar, IMO.

To celebrate the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Havana, I lit up a Trinidad Robusto T - Outstanding, improving throughout the entire burn! I burned my knuckles, trying to enjoy everything it had to offer!

Had the new Crowned Heads La Imperiosa last night.

Great idea. I'll smoke a Cuban tonight. Not sure what. I have a Diplomaticos #3 from 1998. Might go with that.

Tatuaje Limited Edition black label corona Gorda. Best cigar I've had this month and I've had some good ones.

La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero with espresso this morning.

Well, I did indeed light up the 1998 Diplo #3. What a smoke. I think it had probably lost a little flavor and depth over the years, but one of the best cigars I've had all year.

Leaf by Oscar, not so great.
