It will be 75 and sunny in Dallas today.
I can not pass this beautiful day up and not enjoy a fine cigar.
I'm thinking enjoying an outside fire after dinner will be a perfect place to enjoy a nice stick.
Last evening with work colleagues. An excellent way to discuss matters at hand:
Montecristo No. 2
Montecristo No. 2
Very nice KSC!
A few nights ago had my first custom island roll...54 ring and 6.5 length.

At the shop? Why did you choose not to sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the day?

Cute.
Attended a large company function at a local country club last evening. A colleague brought 4 Montecristo No. 3 Coronas for us to 'enjoy' post supper on the terrace outside.
Decent smoke but the enjoyment was interrupted by the temperature (-21C)

KSC...have your giblets re-descended yet?

As many here know, I am devoid of any hair upon my head.
I could actually feel my exposed scalp shrinking (felt like a permafrost face lift) and my ears began to actually feel warm, and then begin to burn. Time to step inside at that point. No damage incurred. Said giblets remained unaffected amazingly.

I've been exploring, and a local guy had a box of 5-year-old Litto Gomez Diez: impressive smoke, but definitely enjoy this on a full stomach!
Also enjoyed an EP Carillo Maduro Robusto: noticeably sweeter and lighter than the LG and worth another try IMO.

My local B&M source was literally down to their last 8 Robustos, so I relieved them of their 'end-of-bin' nuisance.

Stick,
I believe the double corona is the best "blend" of the #9's but in all honesty I think all sizes are terrific and I smoke, due to time constraints, the Toro the most!
These with a year or two of age are unreal.

A lot of options in there, Jdon0. What sticks of theirs do you like?

Last night I had a EP Short Run Corona made specifically for my local B&M. Everyone is in love with this thing up here...I thought it was a tannic mess...but what do I know?

Thanks for the review. Have you tried the MF Le Bijou Corona (re-)made for Federal? My interest is high, but they're only available by the box, so I'm hoping to get a read from someone with a palate I trust.
I have one in my humidor and will maybe smoke it tonight...will keep you posted. First I have heard about needing to buy a box though? Would you like to see what I can do?
Half way through the My Father and im loving the Oscuro wrapper...nice spice and vanilla/nut flavors...well balanced...at 7$ or so a stick its a BUY...not my favorite of sizes but packed with flavor.
Stick...shoot me a email when u have a minute

I have not been a fan of La Glorias since he did leave actually...nice selection of Padron and Serie D4's are good young and aged.
La Gloria Inmensos off the island are pretty tasty however....

Thanks. Will do.
Undercrown Toro: not very impressed by the first third, but it drastically improved around the half-way point. 'Never seen such well-hidden seams in a wrapper; bravo! Over-all thumbs-up.
Thats impressive Stick...I had a Tatuaje Regio yesterday, smoked about 1 inch and had to put it down....it was off for sure. I cant seem to plow through a stick if it doesnt start off well...bravo for staying the course and it looks like it paid off!
Yesterday I smoked a Liga Privada T52 Robo from 09'...pretty solid smoke.

I'm just too much of a cheap-skate to not finish something I bought!

Haven't decided yet, but I'm definitely smoking something primo tonight!
Short Bolivar at lunch and just finished a Trinidad Reyes from 08' with a nice beer..not of the root catergory

Casa Magna Domus Magnus Optimus (box-pressed robusto extra) and a My Father El Hijo (ditto). Very, very pleased with both of these sticks.
My Father LE 11'...tight draw on this one...flavors were good but draw was a bit off.
Tatuaje Brown Label Gran Cojonu.

Just finished a My Father Fed Cervante Connecticut at the shop...only 50 boxes of these apparently.

So what's your assessment? I didn't realize this release was a CT. Are all the sticks CT, or is it like the Jaime Garcia LE with one Habano wrapper, while all the others are oscuro?
