It has a LOT to do with ever changing schedules and predictably unpredictable last minute adjustments with my client.

I think I can say that this is the best cigar I've ever had the pleasure of smoking. Complex and robust without being overbearing. Nutty flavors but with an interesting sweetness. Beautifully constructed, an absolutely incredible cigar.

I think my humidity is a little high. Had a little tight draw to start and problem keeping lit about half way through. Overall a good smoke though.

First nice weekend in Michigan in a long time. Celebrated with a RyJ Churchill. Every time I smoke one I appreciate the quality of construction. ALWAYS great!

Trade a used humidor for a glass or bottle of wine.
I have a small (25 or 50 count)romeo and julieta 125th anniversario humidor. It has the r & J label and on top. There are a few scatches to clear coat finish, seal on it is great.
Would prefer NYC or LI (could arrange trade at an offline as well)

Last week I had to travel over to Windsor, Canada to visit a Supplier. While there I really had the hankering for a couple of my favorites (Romeo y Julieta Churchill). Decided, WTH, I'll take 2. Later that afternoon, returning to the States, I stopped to pay duty on some 'Supplier Samples' at the border. Completly forgetting about the 2 Cubanos in my center console. While inside paying the duty, good ol' Homeland Security decided to browse through my vehicle and, sure enough (they weren't hidden) they came across them in the Console. My God, you'd have thought I was caught smuggling Heroin. CLEARLY, I didn't take the Country's 'embargo' seriously. After emptying the entire contents of my car looking for more, they finally let me go. But not until I signed a document entitled "abandonment of illegal substances at the border".

We'll all sleep better tonight, knowing those two Cubanos didn't get across the border. Homeland Security is at the helm.

And yes, Chile, I take my responsibility of the risk, and accept it. I'm a big boy. But that doesn't change my attitude of the reality being that this was nothing more than a Government Sanctioned mugging. I hope they get sick on them.

Yesterday, I just finished up my last of a few Padron 3000s (maduro/robusto) that were smoking quite nicely.

I don't think I've ever had a cigar this early in the morning, unless I hadn't yet been to sleep!

Nothing goes with breakfast eggs like a nice cigar.

We always enjoy a fine cigar with our breakfast tacos at the ranch before our bird hunt.

Cigar and coffee are one of my favorite pairings without a doubt.

Blew down a Bolivar in a Maduro wrapper yesterday at lunch. Not sure which one. It was a Churchill cut.

If I have had my limit of wine for the night ( never over a half a glass) I choose coffee also.

Nothing like sitting on the patio in front of your favorite Cafe in Europe sipping a well made coffee while smoking a well made cigar and people watching.

There is nothing like a good cigar and great glass of wine on a Friday or Saturday night after you worked all week. I have to be in the mood and usually its after a rough week and I just want to really unwind. Ah life is good!

How's the future son-in-law adjusting to the cigars and wine (seperate, I know) education?

Tuesday night was another Bolivar Robusto cut in a Madura wrapper. Last night was an AVO robusto cut in a natural wrapper. Tonight? I'm thinking Bolivar Robusto in a natural wrapper; Habano this time.
