Champagne

Anything from Vazart-Coquart, Henri Goutorbe, or Pehu-Simonet. Jean Milan Grand Reserve 1864 is a spectacular Champagne within that price range. There's an ocean of great Champagne available at under $75.

Champagne is one of those things where its going to be very hard to find anything good under 30 but the 50-75 range its much easier to find something stellar.

Schramsberg BdN is an excellent value for under $30.

Michel Arnould (all), Paul Déthune Rosé, Rene Collard (all vintage bottlings), Billecart-Salmon NV Rosé and BdB, Egly-Ouriet (multiple in your price range) would all be good jumping off points.

Yes, Schramsberg is a great sparkler.

But, don't write off less-expensive NV Champy. My wife and I have been working through a full case of Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top, that had received a few years of bottle age before purchase. Just outstanding, wonderful toast and much of the good yeast/nuttiness that you look for in an aged vintage Champagne. Only one bottle left

For something in the $50 range, try the 1998 Jacquart Brut Mosaique.

There's literally thousands of excellent Champagnes in your desired price range. I mean that very seriously. Thousands. Schramsberg, while relatively cheap, pales in comparison with $50 Champagnes.

I have enjoyed Oregon state Argyle Extended Tirage. Sells around $60 from the winery. Wine Spectator's highest rated US sparkling wine year in and year out, which I realize does not mean very much, but I certainly enjoy it. Working on the 2000 vintage currently.

1) Howdy Hunter Long time long see!!!
2) Roederer Anderson is a winner in our house as well, tastes very yummy and the bottle is perfect for sabering.
3)Nicolas Feuillatte hassome really nice offerings in the 20 dollar range
4) Heidsieck Monopole has also seen lots of action in out house

Again thanks for the advise from all. Will most likely pick most of them up and work our way through them and see what we like best.
