Yes, Schramsberg is a great sparkler.

But, don't write off less-expensive NV Champy. My wife and I have been working through a full case of Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top, that had received a few years of bottle age before purchase. Just outstanding, wonderful toast and much of the good yeast/nuttiness that you look for in an aged vintage Champagne. Only one bottle left Frown

For something in the $50 range, try the 1998 Jacquart Brut Mosaique.
