I had this after Vacqueyras Sang De Cailloux 1998 (blah - 85 pts probably closed right now).

Chante Perdrix 1999 (Parker 89 pts):
What a change of pace! Unbelievable nose, very aromatic - leather spices and guarrigue! After that you don't even need to drink it. It had a very light ruby look but tasted much more concentrated. It filled the mouth with hot peppers, leather and a hint of rasberry. Very long spicy aftertaste. (I paid $18 for this - unbelievable value) It has sweet tannins still so will probably drink well for another 5 years but waiting is taking a chance. Wow! 92+pts in my books
