Gotta love socialists.

Sad thing is that we are going to be the new European Socialists before long.

Yes, might have to suffer through lower cost, better health care, better food, better educated students.

We have better aircraft carriers though.

I know I'm impressed how well it is working in Europe, especially for the 1 of 4 unemployed, and 4 of 10 under 29 unemployed. Roll Eyes

Jorge, as you know, we have two business units in Europe. The exodus of their youth out of Europe is stunning, but with unemployment rates for the youth at 30%-50%+ the sheer hopelessness is understandable.

The term lost generation is now a reality, and with retirement at 60-62 in Europe, lifespans at 80+ and the exodus of the youth only means you will run out of other peoples money far faster than expected.

I fixed that for you. Still no place like the US for graduate school, although I think the undergraduate system is probably overall stronger in Europe (greater access). Health care is definitely cheaper there, but slower and probably less advanced (just try getting non-essential medical services on the public dole). Also, there's not much that's cheaper in Western Europe than in the US unless you count wine, but I'm not sure that matters to most people. Definitely better food over there though, you won't have any disagreements from me!
