buying and selling amongst us in Ontario/ Canada

Good morning everyone… just a thought here. It would be nice to have a network of people in Ontario and throughout Canada who can share lists of bottles they want to sell or trade amongst each other.

Perhaps this already exists, and there is a group for doing this?

I personally have bottles I would like to trade as well as interest in buying bottles from others in Ontario, of course in a safe manner, thus perhaps throughout the GTA in person.

It appears the only way to buy from others in Ontario or Canada is via auction houses like Waddington’s.

Anybody doing this, or interested? I could share of list of bottles I have, via PM and vice-versa

I'd suggest most GTA people on this board would be interested, but seem to recall when it was tried in the past it quickly gets pointed out that sales of wine in the province must be via the LCBO, and that advertising or confirming private sales on a public board is, legally speaking, a poor decision.

I would never engage in something so nefarious as a private wine transaction without ensuring the governing body recieves their well-earned pound of flesh.

You should come to an offline.  Meet some folks.

Ah yes! You are both clever and correct! Sure would like to come to an offline, where do I find out about the events?
