I have no idea how that company even still exists.

There are at least two of us on these forums who worked there in the "orange corduroy" days in the early-mid 80's.

I'm not above hitting a fast food joint now and then, but we haven't eaten there in many years. Not since we spied an employee tossing his toast out back.

I enjoy Burger King, but am glad that black burger is not here.

I'd eat one just to say I did it.

I'd hazard a guess if this were at Hubert Keller's Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay, more than a few forumites would give it a try......

To answer the OP - I would make an intentional trip to a BK if they had one to try. Sounds like it's more of a look than a taste thing, however.

Someplace I read a review on it from an American that was in Japan. His take was it did not live up to expectations and was not worth the approxmiataly $8.00 he paid for it. (As best as I remember the story)
