Why??? I would have suggested an off dry Riesling until you got to bleu cheese. Maybe a fruitier rose? Stumped on this one.

PH, we are having some friends over for a multi course dinner, with wine with each dish. I feel like throwing a beer into the menu would throw it out of balance with the rest of the pairings.
Look,
Belgian ale is the "correct" answer.

If it must be wine, though...

>clicky<. I would probably go with the '05 at RWC. But probably can't go wrong with any, and the '07 is great, too.

Another high class sparkling Loire Chenin Blanc would work as well.

German Sekt (eg. Breuer or Donnhoff) or Austrian Sekt (eg. Willi Brundlmayer) could work as could a Lini Rose/Rosato Lambrusco. But the Huet is where I would go.

Thanks, love the price point too

+1 on that but I'd like to add a Hooters waitress that's only working there "until she has enough saved for college".
