Vacationing in Maine and we plan to visit Boston for a day or two during our vacation.(Just the two of us, my mother in law will be keeping an eye on the kids).
Where to go for a good meal, with a nice wine list.

GPN is not getting any info for CapeCod either...
In the end a nice BYO restaurant would be good to, I will probably buy something nice on the way.

Check out: L'espalei (french), grill 23 (steaks), The Oak Room (steaks), Julien (may find better food, but the whole "event" will be great), The Federalist has an excellent wine list - very pricey though...there are some to start with. Also great is Olives in Charlestown, next door to Boston, but must go early bc no reservations and crowds gather early

No BYO restaurants in Boston area that are any good that I can think of. BYO doesn't make it in Massachusetts.

Last I heard he's still in Boston (secondhand, my tagline refers my kids and I get out maybe 4 or 5 times a year!), but check Roy's site or vinocellar I'd guess.
