Funny, for me it is Pilsner Urquell or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, too!

Anchor Steam Liberty Ale and Lagunitas IPA also work very well but are maybe a bit too high brow for the Super Bowl for me?

Well, you've got two of my most favorites down, Negra Modelo (best beer in Mexico IMO), and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Others I'd add to the short list (well, the long list):
Downtown Brown by Lost Coast Brewery (No. Cal)
Pete's Wicked Ale (readily available)
Shiner Bock (hard to find outside The South, but stupid good)
Anchor Steam Liberty Ale (readily available)
Pacifico (if you want clean and crisp)
Empyrean Vanilla Porter (from Nebr., for those tiring of Stout)
Anything from Anderson Valley Brewing Co.
And, good old Sam Adams (readily available)

I drink all of these beers and they're all good. I like just about everything from Stone, Lost Coast, Anderson Valley, Alesmith, and Sam Adams (when I'm not at a pub).

Haven't had Stone. No. Cal? And, I miss the great microbrews out there in your neck of the woods. Sigh.

Out of San Diego. Serious stuft.

Wow! They're from Escondido? I grew up in Poway, bummed I moved away when I finished High School. I'll pick some up when I'm in San Diego this summer.
