I use by Spiegelau Authentis Bordeaux stems a lot, probably several times per week. I've always washed them by hand using the regular old kitchen sponge and dish soap (Palmolive, etc.). When they're new, the hot water would sheet right off and they'd dry quickly. However, I've begun to notice that, after washing, the water beads up quickly on the inside of the stems, almost like car after a wax job. Then, even if I towel dry the insides, wines start doing the same thing!!!

After a swirl, the wine doesn't slide back down the sides forming leges. Rather, reddish beads form on the inside and it's quite unappealing.
Do I have build-up of some kind?

Is there a product I should be using to wash my crystal instead of regular ol' dish soap? Am I alone o this one? Thanks all...
