Looks like South Florida may get Elsa Tuesday, aiming at Miami. Darn, that will impeed the rescue of the Surfside folks. Hope it moves way east

You mean "recovery", not rescue. But yes, let's hope the storm moves away.
storm keeps moving a little west, a little east. Probably not hurricane strength, but strong and wet enough for sure.
Just like we have very wealthy people and very poor people in this country, we have regions with an abundance of precipitation and regions with drought. We should work on both problems. We need precipitation redistribution.
current track makes it a tropical storm and will pass pretty close to Key West, up the west coast of Florida and so forth.
Tropical storm/hurricane Fred…. May be named soon. Might arrive in Florida sometime Saturday.
We are supposed to leave for Peru on Saturday - currently trying to change flights to Friday - does not look like much of anything but perhaps enough to mess our flights up.
Try the guinea pig and don't forget to tip your waitress.
Let's hope the storm goes on a westerly track and misses Florida.
Flights changed so you floridians are probably fine now
When my son went to Peru with his girlfriend, he told her he was planning to eat guinea pig. She's a vegetarian. She told him absolutely not. He did it anyways, and has photos to prove it. And somehow they are still together!
I have a friend who was doing business down there a few years ago. He said his business partners insisted that he try it. I asked him how it was?
He said, "Exactly as you would expect."
Getting near the end of the hurricane season. It was an uneventful one for Florida for the most part.
Getting tons of rain with high tide and winds up the Chesapeake. Flooding in Annapolis and in downtown Baltimore.
sort of sounds ironic but the National Aquarium was closed due to too much water.
