Although I think going on endlessly and posting huge notes about "accomplishing" 2000 posts is ridiculous, I am going to spend 2 minutes thanking some of the people that make me keep coming back to this site for more.

I'm sure this list will grow over the summer as I will be attending Otis' CDP in Chicago, traveling to Texas in August and it's a given that the Toronto contingent will host a few out of town guests as well.

Some of the great people I have meet at tastings and offlines include (in no particular order):

DoktaP
Futronic
Slan
Carriedca
Oakville_al
Bman
Steve8
The wino formerly known as Goitre
Duojet
Seaquam
JCubed
Bowhunter1961
DrthVader
Thomas23162
on the wine
DoktaG
Asterixis
Highdesertwine
MWaters
Basecadet
aav28
WineguyinTO (Where are you, Joe!?!?!)

If I missed anyone, my apologies!

Brent

Baird,
Congrats on 2000, but the pleasure belongs to those of us who have enjoyed your posts, your wine, your "flaming" dinners, your "dark" videos, and the pleasure of the company of Mrs. B and yourself.
And the next time I visit your home, please have your dogs not piss on my pants: it took my dogs a month to stop humping my calves.
Keep up the good work!

Pauly, I would much prefer if you would start a "slow clap". Big Grin

BD, Hopefully I will know more concrete dates in the next 2 weeks. I am hoping to fly in to Houston on a Thursday or Friday, meet customers in the afternoon, get together at night with some Texas winos and fly out the next day. I'm hoping you will set up a Red Truck vertical tasting retrospective. Razz Wink

Carriedca, I will bring the Mouton Cadet next time you are around. I'm also working on an electrified theft proof wing glass that would prevent "a person" from stealing my '82 Ducru. Maybe they make a "club" for a wineglass. Wink Big Grin

Houston! Why? Feel like being punished? Come to Dallas instead. Forget the clients.
