I see reference to which clones were used in wines countless times when reading winemaker notes and even reviews. But in all my time drinking wine, I’ve only discovered two clones that seem genuinely distinct and worth discussing. (And they’re both so obvious that they’re often referred to as totally different grapes.)  Serine (a variant of Syrah) and the Musqué clone of Sauvignon Blanc (aka “Sauvignon Musqué”).  Are there any other important clones you’ve come across, or have you found most of the rest of the clone notes meaningless?
