Unfortunately it ends on the 29th. I'm taking my daughter up there next week for her to see it.
Picasso oil painting chance for €100 to help Africans get clean water. The current value of the painting is around 3 million. Anyone here buy a ticket yet? The drawing is at the end of March
"There Are No Fakes." Fascinating, if not a little over produced, documentary about Barenaked Ladies' member Kevin Hearn who sued over the legitimacy of a Norval Morrisseau he purchased. This leads him into a crazy world of art forgery in Canada. I guess this shows what happens if you don't have a catalogue raisonné (?)
Fact: I've never heard a song by The Barenaked Ladies.
On Amazon.

Check out Pinch Me, One Week or Brian Wilson. Your kind of lyrics and perhaps music too.
BNL did the theme song for the show Bing Bang Theory.
Personally, I was never into drawing or painting until a few years ago, when I inherited some art supplies, so I started playing around and found I liked it. It’s relaxing and helps me appreciate the natural world in new ways. I always try to browse new resources (see this ) to find inspiration.
Be sure to click on the demonstration of, Nature Morte.
Was at the Mauritshuis in The Hague this evening for an after hours tour with a docent. Lots of Rembrandts and Jan steens and, of course, The Girl With the Pearl Earring of Vermeer. This followed by dinner at the literary society club next door. A nice evening.
@irwin posted:Went to see the Vermeer exhibit at the Rijksmuseum today in Amsterdam. Really fabulous. It was crowded but it was easy to see the paintings.
I am really lucky to have seen this. I feel privileged beyond any measure.
I agree. A fabulous collection.
