So I picked up my bottle of argan oil from Garagiste this weekend. Until recently, I'd never even heard of it, other than on Iron Chef America. Now the question is, what do I do with it?

I hear that Argan oil is great for the skin.

Argan oil also shares an interesting processing stop with Kopi Luwak. The nuts (still in their shell) may have passed through the digestive tract of goats.

A good start would be to drizzle it over cous cous or vegetables and think of flavor matches.

From what I've read, the tree is protected in Morocco. But the oil comes from the nuts inside the fruits, that are harvested and rendered only by the Berber women. Googling it, I saw pictures of goats climbing the smaller trees to get at the fruit, so pape du neuf might not be far off. I wonder how it goes with weasle coffee?
