Last night at the local fish shack, excellent salmon rillette with house-made potato chips, beautifully presented; ceviche of shrimp, avocado, red onion, pea shoots, spicy and delicious; salad of snap peas, green beans, barley, feta, Champagne vinaigrette; French fries; Mediterranean bass with ramp vichyssoise, intense in colour and flavour.
I love when a good restaurant changes their menu for a new season with lots of new and inspired dishes. I rarely take photos of food, but that salmon rillette just looked like spring, and a lovely sunny afternoon didn’t hurt either.

Last night: NY strip, baked potato, salad. Sometimes the simplest of dinners are the most satisfying.
Night before last: mixed Indian appetizers and tandoori grill, lamb vindaloo, rice, naan, paratha.

We had Indian tonight…shrimp pakora, chicken tikka and shrimp tandoori.

Ironically, almost exactly what I’m having. Only difference is I have Rigatoni as my pasta and a side arugula salad.
Grilled burgers and convection oven Fries. The latter can use a little tweak but we’re still pretty good.
