Wow, first one here.

Easter, and we had ham a couple of weeks ago. So tonight will be making 2 large turkey breasts. I wanted to smoke them, but the weather isn't cooperating Mad , so they're in the oven now. Roasted asparagus, Potatoes Lyonnaise, and creamed spinach if I have the time.

mneeley, I've tried roasting turkey breasts before and they often dry out on me. Do you do anything specific to keep the meat moist, like it would be if roasting the whole bird? Thanks in advance.

Happy first date anniversary, billhike!. It's funny, my ex and I used to put more emphasis on our first date anniversary than we did on our wedding anniversary. Something cool about a first date that leads to another.

it's a very good pairing with the cumin spices.

the earthy notes from the cumin mixes well with the citrus and the sugar in the carrots and raisins pairs very nicely the raw onions and cilanto in the pico.

i used beefsteak tomatoes, it's really more of a texture thing this time of year in NY. the tomatoes are just watery and bland and take on any sort of flavors you throw it on.

Ha, no! Big Grin she wasn’t home yet from the joys this time of year working for a tax accountant...
A simple dinner of pan-roasted chicken thighs, steamed jasmine rice and steamed broccoli. The kids call it, "Daddy's Chicken" and eat it like it's going to run away. They also love lots of soy sauce and butter on the rice (I do too...with some Sriracha). It's immensely satisfying to see your kids wolf down their dinner.
