Visually, its concentration always makes me wonder about the quantity of Sangiovese present in the blend, however this 2019 shows an elegance and a remarkable cleanliness of execution. Complex on the nose with a prevalence of cherry and plum that turn on notes of raspberry and strawberries, mediterranean herbs and licorice. Medium full body, ultra silky tannins, enveloping mouth and refreshing acidity in the medium-long chocolate finish. Approachable now but better wait two or three years.

One of my favourite wines but a bit young. Have not had the 19 yet. Thought the 17 was spectacular!
