American Express sending wine Gifts

American Express sent me the Janice Robinson World Atlas of Wine as a christmas present. I guess they figured out what % of my Amex spend was on wine......and the bummer is that wife wanted to know just how much I spent for Amex to send me a christmas present. Did anyone else get one of these or did I spend way too much last year...

No gifts here from Amex and it was certainly used quite a bit the past few years. I grudgingly laugh at the fact that the magnetic strip is / has been worn out for quite a while. The saving grace is it's the old school charge card. While it hurts every month, there's no accrued interest taking place. In my world that's the only way that seems to work. Is yours a rewards card or is this the reward?

Normal rewards card. I get the points and this just seemed to be a thank you for your money gift, no points involved. But I was intrigued that they had bothered to do the analysis and send me something I might actualy like.
