The train stop convenience is huge for me, so I love the location. Plus, I've never been to Adelle's.

You guys ever do a weekend let me know! The weeknights are killer for me.

We should get a firm date in place. TLV, if we do the 28th would that increase the chance of you wife being able to attend? You mentioned her traveling in March.

2/28 works for me. So does 3/7. Not sure yet whether I will be +1.

By the way 2/28 is Mardi Gras.

Bill, she will be flying on either day. 2/28 is just fine.

Since it has no effect on Mrs. TLV then I say let's do it 3/7. Work for you TLV? Seems that works for those who said they were in for sure. My wife is actually a maybe at this point.

3/7 works fine. She's gone either day, so either day works for me.

Confirmed either date works for me, so I'll be in by myself for 3/7.

Another day or two and I'll make a reservation for 6:30 on March 7. We usually aren't ordering until close to 7 in case the time frame is tight for anyone.

I made a reservation for 8 people at 6:30. So far I have us at 5 unless I missed someone.

Hoping some others can join. Maybe someone can tell EB Wine about Uber and Metra, and help him get a hall pass until 9:30.

Bumping to the top to hopefully get some others to join in. I'm assuming we would do our usual free for all, but did anyone have interest in a wine theme?

I could give EB a ride there since I work in Elmhurst. He'd have to find his own way home though.

I'm planning on bringing a red, and leaning towards a Syrah from Rasa. My wife is doubtful, but if she joins we would likely add a Champagne.

I am going to bring a red Bordeaux. And I am still not sure if I will be a +1. I will confirm either way when I know. If I am +1, I will also bring a German white.

Still debating what to bring. I guess I'll fill in where needed but leaning toward either a champagne (if Bill doesn't bring one) or a red. I'll also bring a dessert wine among the following:

2001 Domaine Philippe Delesvaux Coteaux du Layon Sélection de Grains Nobles (500ml)

If anyone has a preference among these 4 bottles, speak up. I prefer to bring something others are interested in.

Sorry I ruined the surprise. Unfortunately, I don't have any Ch. Margaux. I had a few 375ml bottles of 1999 Ch Margaux that I bought at one of Sams Warehouse sales for $50 but sold them to another forum member at cost 10 years ago. Probably the sale I most regret.

I'll have to look for something else.

Mrs. TLV cancelled her trip next week, so we will both be there. I haven't thought about what to bring yet, but I suppose a mag of 2004 Launois Pere et Fils Special Club will make an appearance if wifey is there and nobody is sick of it yet.
