'99 Argyle "Nuthouse" Pinot

This is my 2nd '99 Pinot from Oregon this week and I think they are really starting to show very well.

A fresh nose of spice and dried rose petal. On the palate a rush of raspberry, cherry cola, spice, hints of mineral and a light dose of acidity. Clean finish.

A medium bodied wine showing well now, but with 2+ years left in my opinion.

I've got one of these as that's all they would let me have b/c I wouldn't join the wine club. Good to hear the 99 are making the turn. I've stayed away from the 99's since release, maybe it's time to pull a cork or two.

I haven't had the 1999, but found the 1998 a good wine that might hopefully benefit from more age.
