I had both of these wines last night and, while I didn't take notes:

'93 Groffier Bonnes Mares: Delicious! Bordeaux-reminiscent aromas of cedar. Black-cherry with blackberry fruit profile in the aroma and on the palate. Super complex, holding nothing back -- full of flavor. Medium bodied. 93pts.

'96 Engel Clos-Vougeot: Still neds time, maybe 3 more years -- still fairly tightly wound. Super complex -- red, purple, and dark berries. Brown spice. Lush in the mouth. Medium-full bodied. 91(+?)pts
