Opened immediately, not decanted.
Presentation: nicely packaged in Cardigan, Hush puppies, and corduroy leg covers.
On the nose, somewhat gamey, hint of body odor, pipe tobacco, and bologna sandwich with Dijon.
Upon opening (with somewhat of a struggle, mind you), hints of Scotch, some claret. I am getting a bit of cholesterol, but not hurting the palate too much. After a good long sip, I found the finish to be somewhat of a slump, but looking back, that seems to be my experience with this type of drink.
I would rate it about 95 points, can’t wait to try another.
