You’d be hard pressed to find a more consistent representation of the Syrah grape at this price point, IMO. Nice combo of old-world and new-world flavors and aromas. Dark berries, campfire smoke, bacon fat, dried herbs, tar/black licorice, damp soil and white pepper. Had it with a dinner of grilled NY strips. It paired well with that as well as a bit of extra dark chocolate later. Very solid. 91-92.
