Better decanted for 45min to an hour than when first popped. Served cool (about cellar temperature) as opposed to cold.
If Hawaiian Tropic sunblock smelled natural and elegant, it might smell like this. Coconut, banana, and tropical fruit (guava?) on the nose. Similar palate with additions of passion fruit and a slight green leafiness. Lovely drink now, but I'm sure it will improve in the coming years. Considering the price, it's not a "wow" wine for me. Not quite as elegant as Domaine de Chevalier Blanc can be. Still, a great SB. Nice pairing with very basic pan seared sea scallops with lemon-garlic-herb butter sauce. 92.5
