Corcelette: Wow!  Popped and poured 15 minutes later, the nose is beyond pretty. White flowers, jasmine tea, violets, violet fruits; seamless transition to palate where the fruits are all lavender colored and the flowers remain. Fairly long finish. Soft tannins. As this opened the scents and tastes of chamomile tea became intense — in a good way. This reminded me of the very best Fleurie I’ve had more than of other Morgon’s. Pretty, feminine, awesome. For $40, a great value. 92

Cote du Py:  More powerful than the Corcelette with more brown leaf and fruit on the nose. Black raspberry, red and black cassis. Also reminded me of tea, but this time green tea. Powerful (for a Beaujolais) palate but well delineated.  Again, similar flavors to nose.  Tannic grip doesn’t diminish the medium-long finish.  “Masculine” and energetic. This is a good value snd I can see others preferring it to the Corcelette. But for me, beauty wins out. 90.5
