This ranks right up there as the best dry Sauvignon Blanc I have ever had (75% SB and 25% Semillion).
For comparison, I've enjoyed quite a few vintages of various Didier Dagueneau wines (Thanks SD-Wineaux) and I rank Merry Edwards and Rochioli as some of the best USA S.B. I have tried.
Clear and very light in color; aromas of grass, gooseberry, and some peach; rich and thick yet lithe body with flavors of gooseberry, grapefruit, and chalky white cocoa (weird, I know!). Long finish.
Intriguing on its own but I bet with the right food, this would be otherworldly.
