This was a nice surprise find as it wasn’t in my CellarTracker. Nearly purple color. Aromas of violets, raspberry, blackberry, pencil lead, cocoa powder and smoked meat. Medium-full bodied and the tannins seem nearly fully resolved. Dark fruit flavors with black licorice, espresso, herbs and baking spice. Drinking very well now and I would consume this year if you have any, as the acid is the one thing I’d say might be fading. Crazy value at under $20 for this much complexity. Very solid. 91.
