2015 Foreau Domaine du Clos Naudin Vouvray Sec - France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Vouvray (3/28/2018)
-- popped and poured --
-- tasted non-blind over 2 - 3 hours --
NOSE: initially tight; mineral with a hint of anise seed; orange/lychee/gooseberry mix, with an unidentifiable hint of some leafy green.
BODY: pale yellow color of moderate intensity; medium-light bodied.
TASTE: apple juice; high acidity; very dry; mid-palate mineral; eons better than the '12 vintage of the same; 13.5% alc. not noticeable; Ashley would prefer more mineral and less fruit; I love this, and expect (hope) it will gain some weight with age --- seems to have medium-light concentration as it drinks today. Ashley's gut impression score: 88; my score below.
