2015 Firriato Ribeca perricone

While in Rome we tried this wine. A grape with which I was not previously familiar. Never heard of it ever, in fact!

It went reasonably well with our Roman pizza but I would probably not have it again. We found it rather harsh and rustic. We like rustic but this was closer to sucking on a railroad track than something enjoyable.
