Bright gold color. Very fine bubbles, not quite mousse-like. Aromas of green apple, melon, lemon oil and stone/chalk. Bright acidity with some hints of citrus - tingly on the back of the tongue. Flavors of lemon, tropical fruit and flaky pastry. Seems like it could go 3-5 more years easily. Nice wine that I bought a few of since it’s our wedding year, and we’ve enjoyed tons of the NV Brut. While this is a little better and slightly more complex, its price is in the range of some widely available champagnes that we like and IMO the same dollars are better spent on those. That said, this bottle is very enjoyable. 92.
