2013 Evening Land Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills

Light but pretty and clean in appearance. Nose of cedar, pencil shavings, cherry and a hint of tar. Charred French oak is clearly evident but in a good way to my palate. Light to medium bodied with plenty of acid. Bright cherry is the dominant fruit and I also get some baking spice and a bit of salinity. This is solid and 89-90 for me. On the lighter side of the spectrum, but I’m a big fan of Oregon Pinot in most ranges.
