Hi

My first amateur attempt at tasting note.

Wine was opened at 48 degrees, immemdiate impressions were of a very non Napa chard, the wine was a light gold/green with a much richer looking color than expected. This was not reflected in the taste which was very sharp/dry in a good Chablis type of way, very clean with excellent mineralty and acidity with only a hint of the typical Napa oak. If like me you think Cali charts are over oaked and to rich then you will love this wine, it definitely resembles a good burgundy over the normal expectations.

Finish was long but crisp acidic but with enough fruit to balance. Overall an excellent bottle.
