Looking for a quality CdR for under $15? Add this to your list. Some old world/Rhone funk hints on the nose then steps back over time in the glass but not before introducing the leading role of plush warm fruit. Acidity and minerality complement in the supporting cast. Grippy chewy tannins leave a dusty fulfilling finish. This won't win an Oscar, but should be a crowd pleaser and is a good expression of the region (albeit a modern example). A solid 90pts.
