Chilled to 46 degrees and served. Initially very closed. I thought at first it may be flawed because Condrieu for me is usually intensely aromatic. Slowly started to open in the glass and really bloomed at abour 20 minutes with vigorous swirling. Intense and heady bouquet of pear skin, candied grapefruit, passionfruit and white blossoms. Stunning really. Had great lift from the bright acid and while the texture was rich and almost oily, it had plenty of energy to keep it balanced. Great Condrieu is great!
If you open one, give it some time but I think it could use a year or two in the cellar. I'm not sure as I don't have much experience aging white Rhones. 94+
