Decanted for an hour plus. Very deep, opaque color. For my preference, the nose is fantastic. Black fruit In abundance, graphite, charcoal and a bit of menthol. No barnyard, either upon opening or now. Medium-full bodied with tannins that are present but not overpowering. A delicious mix of black, red and blue fruit which is balanced by moderate acid. This is my kind of Bordeaux. Those who prefer them on the austere side may not care for it, but I love it. 91-92, and I’m guessing peak is three years away. I’m glad I tried one now and am happy to have two more.
