Merlot dominant Bordeaux blend. Deep ruby color. Nose of ripe plums, graphite, leather and dust. Medium body with quite lively acidity. Fruit flavors are blueberry and a mix of ripe and tart cherries. I could see mistaking this for Bordeaux. Drinking nicely now with two hours of air. The tanning level isn’t harsh but I could see it being more resolved in another year or two. It went well with grilled NY strips. 89-90.
