What the HELL!!!! The grand vin was $175 last year. What a crock of crap!!!

The release price is 230.

That's still $50 over last year and 2006. Big jump.

I guess you can raise prices or at least attempt to after 2 consecutive 100 pt wines. It was a shock to me as well. I was hoping for a slow ramp to the unaffordable rather than the fast track.

I was hoping it would be no more than $200. I was wrong on pricing, I checked and I paid $165 for the 2006 and $185 for the 2007.

Are you a buyer at $230?

I Don't know yet. With the 2006 BDM vintages coming out I need to decide. 200 was a yes, I know it is only 30 more but at some point you have to cut it off!

They don't have the grand vin, but Kapcsandy is offering free shipping right now.

2008 was a tough year for them yield wise. The quality levels were extremely high, though. The '08 Estate Cuvee is the best blend from Napa I've had.

Just tried to buy wine as a mailing list member and everything is already SOLD OUT!

Logged in right at 12:01 PST. They wanted $285 per bottle and most of it was bundled to other wines. Easy pass.

I signed on at noon and went to store. Refreshed for 30 minutes and got a couple of error messages. After I the half hour I checked my email thinking they might send an email saying that there were issues, instead they had sent an email with a special link to the offering. By then it was too late and sold out. I'm somewhat frustrated because the email earlier this week announcing the offering said to log into your account and nothing of the special link so I missed out. The upside I guess is that I have funds to purchases some SQN from a generous formite.
