Thought I'd toss this note up for the Ontario folks as it was released today.

  • 2007 Zenato Lugana Sergio Zenato Riserva - Italy, Veneto, Lugana (10/30/2010)
Light gold with green flecks, this vintage of the Lugana Riserva shows rich, powerful aromas of baking spices, apricot, baked pears, vanilla, meyer lemon rind, and a bit of alcohol. Full bodied and very unctuous, there is nice acidity to balance the palate that shows replays from the nose and a nice mineral streak. Moderate-long finish, ~30-40s, with baked pear and vanilla notes. Really nice. Drink now-2012. (92 pts.)
