2007 The Treat

I am big fan of Andrew's wines. I went all in for a 3 pack, mag and wished list another 3 pack. That is a pretty good price point for a good Cali Cab with fruit from a great vineyard.

I took the three pack but passed on the Mag. I'm thinking that it won't be long before I'm really glad I signed up for this list because these wines are going to be hard to get and well worth the price.

I ordered the 3 pack, but at $75 per plus tax and shipping, $83, I really don't see this as being a good value. I think it will be good wine, but it is very expensive.

3-pack here. I too was disappointed with the tax and shipping charges, which have never existed with A.P. Vin.

Budman, I was a little bummed out about the taxes and shippping also but its not actually an AP Vin product. He was just hired as the wine maker.

Stacey Rosser (Pali Wines) is handling the release. I too was surprised by tax and shipping, as Pali, August West and AP Vin don't charge these. $446 for the three pack and mag for me FL. I'll be waffling on this until the order deadline. Do I order the mag, the 3 pack, all or none? I have another week to decide...

I went for the 3 pack also, passed on the mag. I agree, not cheap, but hopefully good.

I'm not familiar with this wine, and I can't find anything on Wine Spectator or Wine Advocate. Is it a Cabernet Sauvignon, and where is it made?

It is a Napa cab. They sourced the fruit from a very good vineyard but cant say which one. Andrew Vingello from A.P. Vin is the wine maker. It is a joint venture between Pali, A.P. Vin and one more I cant recall off the top of my head. I dont think it has been reviewed by anyone yet.

This wine was my lark for the spring.

I look forward to the first tasting notes arriving!

The third party in this venture is Ed Kurtzman. Tim Perr of Pali is the 'Central', and Ed is the 'Industrial'. They will be released in the Fall.

I received the tracking info on 4/22 with scheduled delivery for yesterday (4/26). Now the tracking number is just saying it was "billed."

I smell the Tucson sun making some expensive vinegar. Hope they have three left to re-ship.

Anyone else try this yet? I had opened a bottle a few months ago and it showed pretty well, albeit young.

Received mine. I was going to let them sit. Probably try one before the next release to see if I want to re-up. Would be curious to see others tasting notes.
