This is one of the finest cabs to come out of the CA 07 vintage. Outside of Screagle that I haven't opened yet and the Colgins that have not yet been delivered, I've had most of the one's that have been released and delivered and Spottswoode topped the likes of Foley Claret, Switchback, Bryant Family (though the Bryant is sickly good), Snowden Reserve, Scarecrow, Caymus SS, Kapcsandy Grand Vin, Maybach and many others. Buy, buy, buy and then buy some more. If I paid $300 for this bottle, I'd still think I got a good deal. Off the charts. BTW, this one is drinking unusually well in it's youth....much more so than their past vintages. With that said, I don't think anyone needs to worry about this one falling off anytime soon as the fruit, tannins and acid are all there. Just saying that why wait on this one as well as it's drinking now. 2-4hr decant and giddy up.
